Description:
Xceedium’s xCONTROL POWER provides a remote power control solution that allows administrators to turn on, turn off, or reboot any device that is connected to it, from a remote location or local terminal.

The unit contains 8 individual relay controlled AC power receptacles that are controlled by sending a short character string (command) to the ethernet or RS-232 control port on the host module.

If power is lost to the unit due to an outage, it retains the last known state of each receptacle so that when power returns, only the appropriate receptacles power back on.

When used in conjunction with the SSL-UAG+, administrators can achieve secure web-based access and centralized management and control of any of our xCONTROL POWER units, anywhere, anytime.

Supports commands for both receptacle control and status, including: on, off, config, reboot and status. Provides a response to a command indicating that the command was acknowledged and completed.

Access
xCONTROL POWER is accessible and/or controllable via Ethernet or Serial port.

Advanced Applications
xCONTROL POWER series include many models that satisfy customers’ requirement. For example, in most cases, the power output and power cords can be customized to meet the requirements of the plug-in devices as well as the cord can be switched from NEMA-15 to Twisted Lock type for under-raised-floor installations. Additionally, for enterprise-class redundancy, xCONTROL POWER series include models with Redundant Switching, Static Transferring, and Three-Phase Capabilities.

Control
xCONTROL POWER supports commands for both receptacle control, and status. These commands include: on, off, config, reboot and status. The unit provides a response to a command indicating that the command was acknowledged and completed. In the event of a power failure to the xCONTROL POWER, the unit retains the most current operational status for each outlet in non-volatile memory. When the xCONTROL POWER regains power, it restores each outlet to those status settings. For example: If Outlets 1 and 2 are ON, and the remaining outlets are OFF when a power loss occurs, when AC power is restored, Outlets 1 and 2 are placed in the ON position. The power-up routine to each receptacle is performed sequentially to minimize power surges.
