    Originally known as Avocent DSR1161-EU

    The DS Series DSR1010 single user 16-port switch provides both digital and analog connectivity to PC-based servers. The DSR1010model contains one local port for access at the rack and an Ethernet port allowing one user access over IP. Avocent's patented OSCAR on-screen GUI reporting interface provides rack level access and control. DSView Windows interface offers flexible access for IP-based server management from any location in the world. The DSR1010 works with the DSRIQ smart cable. The DSRIQ CAT 5 cabling provides connectivity from the DSR1010 to the server. With its CAT 5 design, the DSRIQ significantly reduces cable bulk in the rack and is well suited for high-density installations.
